Owo massacre: 38 people confirmed dying
The Diocese of Ondo launched on Tuesday that 38 people have been confirmed killed on account of the terrorist assault on St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday.
In an interview with The Punch, the Diocesan Bishop, Jude Arogundade, revealed this.
Gunmen assaulted the church on Owa-Luwa Street in Owo, the hometown of State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, on Sunday, killing six parishioners and injuring a wide range of extra.
However, Arogundade acknowledged that the diocese had been capable of arrange 38 victims.
